Our team has deep, hands-on expertise in project design and construction – specifically in power generation, water and energy conservation measures, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, battery storage and demand response programs. Constructing solar PV projects since 2009, we are also leaders in the provision of comprehensive, long-term GHG emission reduction strategy and products, which map detailed paths to net-zero with supporting financial scenarios.
We are committed to investing in and operating world class assets in Barbados in conjunction with local ownership to the benefit of all stakeholders. We support the island’s target to achieve 100% renewable energy and carbon neutrality by 2050. This target is important and achievable, and provides tremendous social, environmental and economic opportunity for the region.

Projects
Blackstone Megawatt has been working in Barbados since 2014. Our solar power project portfolio with the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) represents approximately 8 MW of rooftop and ground-mount solar. We are also actively developing a 4MW ground-mount “agri-solar” project in St. Thomas, which will combine agricultural production in the same location as solar power generation.
